Will This Cake Be Ok?

I have a lady who wants a cake for next Sunday...it'll be a guitar cake...one layer basically carved like a guitar covered in buttercream and fondant. I am going out of town on Thursday night. Can I bake and cover it thursday and have it be ok for Sunday? Or is that too soon?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

If you can i would freeze it. IF you are using a box mix it might be okay, but if using a scratch cake i don't think it would make it that long. Of course thats JMO
