Are there any online resources for gumpaste/sugarpaste flowers? Is there a place online that is educational, and free? I have the Wilton book and a Colette book, but the information there is limited.

The Nicholas Lodge videos seem great, but at $20.00 a pop, I'm questioning if I really need them.

Any money saving tips and tricks you could give me would be wonderful. I am trying to learn and the supplies alone are adding up very quickly for my little hobby. (:

I do not have the nicolas Hodge vidio but from what I have seen it is worth the money.

I would start small and master 1 or 2 flowers the rose and a filler flower and ivy then you may want to learn something harder. You do not need to pay a fortune to start. one at a time and then branch out for the more advanced flowers.

I have been thinking seriously about getting that video but I have been doing flowers several years and know I enjoy it
