After 2 years of searching high and low for a place to bake and decorate, I finally gave up. I haven't made a cake for over 8 months...except for family things. A few weeks ago I received an email from my daughter, forwarding an ad. A local cake artist has a medium-large business and is looking for someone to decorate wedding cakes part-time. I sent an email with photos of my work and just had a phone interview yesterday. There is one other person that she is talking with...so wish me luck that I get the job!! All I do is decorate...she has someone who does all her baking at her shop!! It is a dream come true...I still can't believe it...
