How do you make the cake less messy? I just made my first one the other day and used a medium consistency buttercream and it sank in all the cracks. Would it be better to use stiff? And if I make it on Thursday, will it be ok to wait and use on Saturday if I keep it in the fridge?
I'm not sure if you are asking about the butter cream but if you keep it in the fridge it will be ok to use you will just need to mix it again before you use it.
