I ususally put them in a bowl with a lot of hot water and soap and dunk them up and down then change the water and let them sit. then i put them in teh dishwasher if im doing a load and rinse them with plain water when they come out. If im not doing a load i will soak them overnight in the hot soapy water bowl and the next day i will rinse them out and let them air dry.

Something I have learned that has helped me is to boil them in hot water for about 15 minutes. That seems to get them very clean and eliminates the grease. I will usually soak them in hot soapy water first, I always use Dawn, then I will boil them.

Microwaving them gets them totally grease free and quick too, it is the only way I do it now.

I just put them in my sliverware basket (it has a cover) in the dishwasher and them always come out clean. I don't ever rinse them first.

I find it very easy to clean them by putting them in a bowl with hot soapy water. Then all i do is rinse them and they are grease free.
