I have Toba Garrett's Well Decorated cake book. i saw that she recently release the Profession Cake decorating book. Are there enough differences in these two books to warrant buying the second? i ask because it is $65 USD and I wanted to make sure that it was offering additional info. I love her cookie book, but I seem to remember someone saying that the 2nd was jsut a rehash of the first.

Thanks for your help.

i got the book for christmas and i think there is a big difference between the two. The new book is more instructional. It is actually set up in lessons starting with basic borders and advancing as the book goes on. I believe there are 27 lessons. I think it is a great book and well worth the money.

I have them both. The new book, Professional cake decorating, has information from her other two books (well decorated cake and creative cookies) as well as marzipan and a few other additions.

Does it also have large quantity recipes? And are the ingredients in the recipes weighed or measured?

Thanks for your responses.
