I have been asked to make a cake 2 tiers - 11" and 7" round. I was recently told that there would be around 80 people. How many servings would I get from this.

The cake is to be served with coffee amongst other cakes and sweets and I was told that they would only be small peices and not every one would have cake.

I am concerned that there will not be enough cake.

Here's a link...

Estimating from the chart, a 11" might serve around 48 yielding a total of 72 servings. Which could be just enough or slightly under. Maybe see about doing a 12" instead?
