Thanks! I did make peppers, peanut butter ball recipe, covered in red and green chocolate. They looked great, but I didn't put them on the cake until after delivery. Will post a pick when I get one!

Thanks to all for your good wishes. Here is the cake complete with chocolate peanut butter chili peppers:
Snowshoe, the sombrero is a mini-mold cake covered in fondant (with gum tex added to make it harden). The brim is a flat circle that I put in a bowl to harden in that shape, then covered the mini-mold and set it in top of the brim and butter cream to cover the crease and add some color. I would have liked the hat to be a little closer to straw beige color, but put in too much yellow coloring!
Ah yes.....the peppers make it complete....very cute.
