Hi All!
Thought I'd share my very first Wedding cake with you all. All in all thing went smoothly, though I was very nervous durin set up(hands were shaking like a leaf). Butterflies did flop a bit as the weather was super humid this weekend. The bride did luv them. Thanks to BAMBUF for the tips on making/cutting the mini cakes.

WOW!! Those mini cakes are GORGEOUS!! Can I ask how you made/covered them? Im making petit fours for a museum in a couple of months and would love for them to be as pretty as yours!!!

Thank you so much for all your kind comments.
I wouldn't have been able to do any of my cakes without all the help from CC members.

CHEFJULIEATKINS.... I baked 2 cakes in jelly roll pans. Leveled them off and filled them. Then I put in freezer. I cut them out using a 2x2 square cutter.
Then iced and put fondant on them.
Very time consuming but were pretty fun to make.

When you guys set up your wedding cakes do you also set up the table and all the decorations? I have not done a wedding cake but I have an appointment for testing next week, by looking at your cake and the display I had to ask. Thanks!
