I've been searching for images of a similar flower so I can replicate these in red with yellow stamens, but I can't find the flower.
Does anyone know what kind of flower this is? I thought it was a Turkish tulip but an image search is giving me nothing that resembles this.

Maybe the person that created that cake made them up? 
Wouldn't be the first time, Wilton did that for their Fondant and Gumpaste course.

The photo is a little distorted, but it almost looks like an anemone to me.
