Help I Don't Know Where To Start.

I want to start making cakes and decorating them. I have no idea where to start. I have a small amount of experience and I am so lost. Some day I want to go futher with it but now its just for family and friends.

Are you able to take Wilton classes? Even if you don't continue them, the first Course goes over basic icing techniques and borders.

start with a basic cake decorating class at a place like Michael's or AC Moore. Or just get a simple cake decorating instruction book with lots of pictures. Good luck!

And, of course, check out tutorials on CC and youtube.com (just search youtube for cake, fondant, buttercream, etc...)
