The local cake supply store in my area will be closed for several days because the owner is attending the ICES convention and she normally orders hi ratio shortening for me. I really need it for next Friday and would like to know where can I order this myself and receive it in time. I am not using CRISCO!!! Global Sugar Art is not carrying it for the summer monnths and In The Oven only has the 50#(Don't want to spend that much).

Why would summer make any difference? Yes I know its hot, but the stuff comes wrapped in plastic. I get mine at Dawn Foods which are all over, but their min quantity is 50#. If you have a Dawn in your area, then I'll bet some retail store will carry it. You might even call your local Dawn and ask who their local retailers are.
