Ok now i have a really stupid question. I saw when i first joined I was a newbie, then i think i somehow graduated to a regular member. Is there something that tells you a range X number of posts makes you a forum super star etc?

There's a tab that says Ranks, if you scroll up a little bit. It will actually be just above the title of the thread. If you click on it, it shows you how many posts you have to make to get to the different ranks.
