My 4 year old ds, 2 year old dd and I went to Save Mart today to take in our recycling and pick up some gelatin I needed to make some fondant. As we always do, we stopped by the bakery to look at the cakes. They had an "army guys" one out today. Basically a sheet cake airbrushed green with green plastic army guys on it. Ds saw it and asked me if I would make that for his birthday and I said sure. Then he looks at me and says: "But, Mom, could you make the guys out of sugar instead?" No plastic on this kid's cake!
