I will either dump the leftovers into a small freezer ziplock bag, or put my decorating bags in the fridge to harden, then cut the coupler off the end and put it in a freezer bag that way. I always label them with the date too, anything over 2 months old in my freezer is tossed.

I warp it in saran wrap - just plop the icing on the plastic wrap - and place that in a freezer bag.
