Does anyone have the cake boss program or the cake decorating business book that are always featured on cc? I am on a very limited budget (aren't we all?) but I am very interested in both. I was wondering what everyone's opinions were.
what do you like about it? Is it appropriate for someone just starting out? Does it help with pricing a cake like it says it does?

To see how CakeBoss helps you price your cakes, you can take the Video Tour, which gives an overview of the program, or watch the more detailed How-To Videos, which are aimed at new users of the program, but explain things in more depth - particularly the video called "How to use the Pricing Calculator".![]()

It does. I put my recipes in with the cost of the ingredients etc and you can then put in how many of the recipe you need to get a total. You can put your customers in, and keep your calendar. You can print your recipes and invoices.
Watch the videos, I think you'll like it. And Kelley is wonderful to deal with. I had some installation problems (nothing to do with the program) and she and her husband bent over backwards to help me. ![]()
