you did a wonderful job. You are definately on your way! What size of diamond impression mat did you use?
Janice
Beautifully done! Its iced, stacked, decorated, and presented just perfectly. You must be so proud of this.
Wow! That is a great cake! If you wouldn't mind sharing some of your tips/techniques, I am new to this and have not done a multi-layer and yours is impressive!

Wow!!!! Thank's guys. To answer your question michellesArt. I am self taught. I signed up for wilton's classes but after sitting in on the first class I said to myself I can do this on my own. I'm impatient, the class was going to slow for me. After that the rest is all by trail and error. I love to do this and I realized this was my gift. I learn from looking. And it's worked out to my advantage. Believe it or not..this was the second cake.
The first one I did collasped on me. I underestimated the weight of the square cake. I used just cake plates and dowels between the layers and it caved in on me. I was devastated. But thank God I had enough time to do another one. This time though I used seperater plates. That trail and error thing. But anyhoo thank's again for all your comments.
matwogirls- I just picked up the impression mat from my cake decorating store. I did'nt see a size on it.
kimmypooh- It was a diamond impression mat
