I am soooo frustrated right now! For days and days and days, I have been trying to come up with a creative name for my business and they are all taken. Granted, some are only taken in other countries, like the uk, but I want something really unique and creative and can't seem to find ANYTHING that doesn't pop up when I google it. GRRRR!

i know it is frustrating, but maybe you taking some extra time will help you find a name you absolutely love! (and that is completely original)
I wouldn't be too concerned if you have a fabulous name picked out and the only other one is in another country. It is like justducky said, even if you find one which has not been taken there is nothing to say that tomorrow someone else will decide to go with that. As long as the web address is available I would go with what you like most.

I incorporated my name with one of my favorites and it just might work. I'm going to sit on it for a few hours while I put the kids to bed and such and see if I still like it. Thanks for the suggestions!

But umm business names are tough tough tough. I had a yawn-acious boring one forever. Then I wanted a website so I just did acme cakes. Just utilitarian, generic, whatever type name. Then my idea was that my cakes are the opposite of the flavor of the name so...I mean it's better than the mile long webshots name or something.
Every now & then I get all wound up about a business but it can't be done in my county from the house. Wait let me get some violin music going
But boy finding a business name is the pits.

Your biz name should tell people what you do. When I see that name, "cakes" as the product you're selling just doesn't come to mind. 
There's a story about a company who hired a marketing expert to find out why they weren't doing very well. The name was something like "Teddy Bear Care". Marketing research found out that people thought it was a place to take toy teddy bears that needed new stuffing and an eye sewn back on. The public had no idea it was a day care center! They had to change their name.
