I am making a grooms cake and the groom loves chocolate cake w/ chocolate mousse filling. anyone have any good chocolate cake recipes and chocolate mousse filling? I am worried that if I make a mousse that it won't stand up in the heat. Is there such a thing as a "mousse" w/out whipped cream???

Rich's bettercream doesn't require refrigeration. I just mix chocolate pudding mix or chocolate syrup in it.

i would also worry about a mousse in the heat. i wonder if those "sleeves" of filling that don't have to be refrigerated come in chocolate mousse flavor? I can't think of what they're called but hopefully someone else can.
