Which coloring do you think is the better of the two, Americolor or LorAnn? Also can you tell me if there is a difference? Thanks.

I didn't know LorAnn made colors (I've only seen the oils for flavoring). Do you have a link to the colors?

Americolor is great.

Same as snowshoe1 - I didn't know LorAnn made colors either. Also agree - Americolor is great stuff.

lorann has a powdered coloring, it's better for putting into chocolate, rather than icing, it's the type of coloring that's ment to be put into something that can't take water ie: chocolate, atleast thats what we were told where i worked HTH

I vote americolor too! I don't have a lot of them (yet) but they have a nice color range and it doesn't take huge amounts to make your harder colors like black and reds.

I went to joann(fabric and crafts) web site and they offered the coloring for $1.52. I guess it is new.
