I'm working on a wedding cake and every time I smooth the fondant to my buttercream based coated cake I get bubbles - ya know - like air pockets!! I'm getting so frustrated!! Any suggestions?
that is really not an uncommon thing to happen when you are applying the fondant. you can prick a hole with a pin and work the air out, and later if you still see the hole, spackle it with some BC.
