I know the job is done, and it looks fabulous, and I wouldn't make any changes. I am new at this, but am wondering if black petal dust would have looked nice inside the ears so that it looks pink but soften up the stark pink.....anyone with more experience.....can you comment......
ps. Gotta say again, it looks wonderful...I didn't know you were making the body! WOW that is a cake. How many hours total......

Perfect! They're going to love it!
If you don't mind, can I ask how much you charge for that type of cake? Also, how do you get the head to stay upright? Is it all cake or is the neck styrofoam or something else?
The head and neck are RKT. I'll post pics below. They were made separately, then glued together with white chocolate and the whole head was covered in white chocolate before being iced in BC and covered in fondant. For supports, there are 2 hollow tubes supporting the weight, and 3 sharpened dowels in the head going into the board below. It will serve about 55 and I should have charged at least $250. I spent about 3 hours on the head and 3 hours assembling the body. The pics below show what is cake. The appendages are fondant. I placed them where they should go and then built up icing to smooth the joins, then covered in fondant. (Sorry, no pic of that.)
You did an amazing job
I think that you nailed it!
What did the customer say about it?
Thanks everyone. She e-mailed me this today.
We LOVED the cakes!! They both looked just like we had imagined and many people also commented on how great they were. Our dog cake was awesome as well!! Thank you so much for making great cakes for our wedding!!!
The other cake was the pink and chocolate bridal cake.
