I was invited to do my sister's wedding cake but I don't think I am ready yet..
There's going to be around 150 guests and I want her cake to be perfect, which is not going to happen if I make it..

Hello as im in the uk I used my local cake shop brand. We are lucky all our fondant tastes good. I have heard the US is not so lucky.

I definitely think you should do more wedding cakes.
I understand the whole intimidation thing, I m intimidated every time I go to work, oddly, it exhilarates me and I dig right in. I get an odd charge by overcoming fears. Freaky, I know.
I really enjoy creating novelty cakes because there is no pressure for perfection. I just dont think I am ready for the perfection required for wedding cakes.
As this was for my sister she understands that I am not a profesional and was ready for imperfections, luckily (pure luck) there werent many.
