Those cakes are too cute. I love them. No wonder she wanted one for her wedding.

That said, $70 is really cheap for a three-tiered cake. She's getting a great deal. I hope she throws a lot of business your way.

My prices for party cakes and wedding cakes are different, but not just as the video clip icon_lol.gif
Most my party cakes are sheet cakes with edible images on them, I takes me less than 30 min to decorate.
Most my wedding cakes or quinceanera cakes have fondant decorations, the need several cake boards, doweling, etc. and take longer to decorate.
If I sell a party cake that has all the "extras" (fondant decorations, more tiers then more cake boards, time consuming decorations,etc.) it won't cost the same as a sheet cake.
When a bride asks for a smaller wedding cake plus a sheet to complete the serving,s I charge the wedding cake price for wedding cake plus the sheet cake price for sheet cake.
