I am so glad you did this!!! Last month I bought these stamps to try this on buttercream and my mom said I was being ridiculous, but now I can say a real true professional has done it and created a masterpiece!! Thank you so much.
Good tutorial. I bought some of these stamps last year and they really are quite handy for cakes :-]
Thanks Rebecca! I saw those one day in Walmart and wondered if I could use them!! Your fondant is always so beautiful, do you mind telling us what kind you use?
I use Albert Uster's fondant, Massa Grischuna. chefrubber.com sells the acetate. HTH
So, have you always used this fondant and is the shipping outrageous. Just wondering if for a beginner you think it is worth the money, obviously your cakes are gorgeous and one of a kind, and wondering if it is easy to work with? Sorry for all the questions, but when you have an opportunity to talk with the best, you just have to!
Thank you so much for that ,I just got these for my sister and was thinking how can I use them for cakes.I love your work ,its awesome.

I used to use FondX. I like this stuff tons better. Seriously, it's a dream to work with. If you order at least $175 worth, 2nd Day Air shipping is FREE. I used to have to pay like $90 shipping on 6 buckets of FondX from Pfeil & Holing. So if you do the math, the MG works out to roughly the same price.
LOL -- yes, it takes color very well. http://www.auiswisscatalogue.com/store/merchant.mvc?page=ASC/PROD/1j_ENROBING/505023
how do you like the taste of Albert Ulster's fondant compared to say, Pettinice or SatinIce?
It's funny I was at A.C. Moore and was looking at some of those exact stamps (the alphabet ones) wondering if I could use them on buttercream to help with my writing!!! I love the look of them on the fondant!! The stamps were kinda pricey so I didn't get them, but maybe now I'll give it a shot with a 40% off coupon or something. Thanks so much for sharing, you're work is amazing!
I have been using them for a while...I found the ones I have at Hobby Lobby. I use them alot for monograms. And I love to use the swirls on buttercream. Then I pipe right over for the design.
Thanks Rebecca
I have a question: aside from the acetate that comes with the clear stamps, is acetate something that is sold someplace? I've never seen it.
