I know that there are a few different servings-per-pan charts out there, so I thought I'd try to get some feedback from as many CCers as I could on what YOU would bake to serve the following:
It's a 50th anniversary party, open house style. She wants a 4-tier main cake with 2 satellites for ~75 guests. What size pans would you use? (She is getting six different flavors!)
Thanks ![]()
I don't think you can make that many cakes for fit 75. unless you did a 3,5,7,9 with two 6in satellites. Which might look a little funny.
I think she needs to change here design, get a dummy or two or pay for extra cake.
I was hoping to get a little more input ![]()
I am simply going to make her a larger cake than she needs. I'll make the satellites 6" and the 4 tiers will be 4" 7" 10" and 13". And tall, at that!
Anyone feel liek giving their idea of how many it will serve? In family or party size servings, not wedding.
