hello, i have a baby shower cake to do very soon and i was just wondering how to make a bow for the top of the cake? the theme is pink and brown and the cake is going to be fondant polka dots. please post directions. thanks

scroll down to the "how to" articles on the CC homepage. There is a great tutorial there on how to make a gumpaste bow. HTH.

I've used those instructions for making a bow, but I found that I liked a fondant/gumpaste mix. I preferred the hardness of the gumpaste but the nice draping flow of the fondant.
