Americolor makes an egg yellow that I like (kind've an egg yolk yellow.) If you want a more gold-gold they have one called, well, gold. Here's a link to their chart. On my screen the egg yellow looks orange, though.

You should be able to find these at your local cake supply.

Ditto the Egg yellow. It's my favorite for doing rubber ducky cookies!
You can make it a bit brighter with a drop or two of electric yellow, all by Americolor.

i have both lemon yellow and golden yellow. or you can always add the slightest touch of orange. and i do mean slight
