Okay. So, I decided to try to do the butter cream transfer I read about on here. I got it all piped out, put it in the freezer 5-10 min and I tried to put it on the cake.... and it won't come off the wax paper. What did I do wrong? I took it back off and have it in the freezer now... HOPING that was the problem. If you could help me out... I would greatly appreciate it. I hate to have to start all over again!
i think you didn't freeze it long enough. i think directions on here say 30 minutes, but i did mine for 90 minutes and one over night. it needs to be solid. and once you take it out of the freezer, be ready to immediately put it on the cake and quickly peel the paper off.. then leave it, let it thaw and then crust over before messing with it again. and post pics when you're done! ![]()
