It seems that your Epson model isn't listed on their site: http://kopykake.com/pc_CompatiblePrinterGuide.html
Did you speak with someone at kopykake to verify that your printer model would work?
it happened to me too,but when i read the papers that came with it, i believe it said to just press " ok " or "continue" (forgot which one it was) and it will work.has something to do with the ink cartridge being different (the yellow one for me), but it still works ok.

I did the same thing as Bren28 and I havent had any problems with it so far.
