Can You Refill Kopykake Ip42 Cartridges?

Does anyone know if the Kopykake IP-42 ink tank cartrdiges can be refilled?? I talked to a tech at Kopykake and he said yes--now I've got the refill kit and it says they can't be refilled. I figure someone out there might have a clue..
