I couldn't find the orange cake mix, so I need to make my own using the WASC recipe. Do I simply replace the water with orange juice or half it? Thank you!!

Sounds like a good idea to me. You could replace half or all - depends how strong of an orange flavor you want. icon_smile.gif But either should work.

Adding some orange zest would be good too! icon_smile.gif

Orange juice isn't very concentrated, so your orange flavor is going to be mild. Adding orange zest will help.

I use DH orange cake mix and still add McCormick orange extract so that the orange flavor is discernible.

Frosted with Rich's Bettercreme, this combo yields a dreamsicle cake. icon_smile.gif

What is Rich's buttercream? Could someone point me to it?
