Does anyone know...Can you freeze egg yolks to use in a recipe later?I am making a recipe that calls for egg whites tomorrow, and I need several yolks for frosting a German Chocolate in about 2 weeks.Thank You!
Just keep in an air tight container, and they will be perfect.Mike
All the BIG commercial bakeries buy cases of frozen egg yolks. So yes! you can freeze them.
