OK i have to do an icing plaque for a complicated logo for a soccer ball cake, now i know there's a tutorial for this with edible paper, however getting an edible image is alot of $ where i am. Has anyone ever done a topper using regular paper glued to fondant ?

I've made 3 this week for a grooms cake. I rolled out my fondant/gumpaste mixture and then "glued" the picture on top with piping gel I brushed on. Worked like a charm!
