I am kidda new to the whole cake decorating thing. Most of what I know is from the internet.(love this site btw). I have done two sets of transfers, my icing both times has been a completely different color on the back than it is on the front. the back is always alot darker. Even the black is different, on the front side it is kidda purply looking but on the bag and in the piping bag it is black. Am i doing something wrong or is this normal?
yes R.I does dry darker on the back. i think this is because it takes longer to dry so the colour has more time to mature and darken.
Yeah, I would also say that it's because the back of the transfer is exposed to air, whereas the front stays against a film until you use it.
