We are going to be using fresh orchid blossoms on a cake next month and I was wondering how you keep them fresh on the cake? I certainly do not want them to wilt from the heat since the wedding and reception will be outside! [/i]
Wilton sells flower spikes that you can insert into the cake and can hold water. Something along that line should work
Be careful orchids are very fragile and they do not like the heat. Be sure they are put on last so they they will hold up.
