Alright, I'm slow...but nearly 3 months after joining CC and having been a wee bit disappointed that I hadn't received a single comment on any of my uploaded cakes, I just noticed today in my account that the setting for comments was set to NO. So, I changed it and got my first comment (luckily a nice one, hehe!) shortly afterward.
So - for any newbies out there also not thinking they are loved...check your settings!
