Curling Wires - How Do I?

I want to put curled wires into my cake as decorations, I have seen quite a few of such cakes on CC. How do I curl the wires?

You can wrap them around different sized dowel rods, loosely around paper towel centers, etc. Anything that will give a smooth curl will work fine. Be sure to put floral tape on them first.

Either use a pliers or just bend them with your fingers.

To get a really tight curl I wound mine round bamboo skewers then just pulled the skewer out and voila curly wire! icon_smile.gif
