I made a really cute graduation cake for a good friend (hopefully still good) this week. It was a 3 layer hex, round, round. I decided to use RBC on BC. I dont really know why I decided to use this, I guess more to try it out. I am not a huge fan of fondant, so I thought this was going to be a pretty good option.
BOY WAS I WRONG!!!
I could NEVER get it strong enough to work with!!! Then after I had everything attached to the cake it all started sliding!!!! Then when I went to go deliver it was even worse!!! My friend said she LOVED it but I just was not very happy at all! I wanted to go home and make another!!!!
What did I do wrong?? I followed the directions.... HELP!!!!

If it makes you feel any better....I have found that RBC is very difficult to work with, it's very stretchy and difficult to cover larger cakes with, but it's good for cookies.
Have you tried Satin Ice or ChocoPan rolled fondant, both are really good and easy to work with.
