Hi eveyone, I know that i have not been on site for a while but lots of things goin on here. A freind of mine would like for me to do her future husbands birthday cake and he loves everything about photo. And I have drawn a blank Help please icon_cry.gif

did you try search, I think I've seen camera cakes posted. My dd suggested I try to make a roll of film for her bff's b-day. Good luck.

A camera cake would be great but not an easy choice, I was thinking how about a rectangular cake done in chocolate made to look like 'film', like a section of a roll of film?!
like this, but as cake with some kind of image on it maybe?! icon_smile.gif

I like Shola's idea but I would do a longer sheet cake and carve the sides to make it more of a wave shape. Then instead of doing one picture in it.. do it like it has three pictures on it. Maybe one on the left of him as a child and on the right a more present day one and then in the middle write Happy Birthday. I hope that makes sense.. .basically like you are looking at three frames on a roll of film.
