Good evening,

I am trying to set up my edible image printer. I purchased the Cannon ip3500 and ordered the 4 tank set from Walkers (Kopykake). I was told by an employee at Walkers (Kopykake) that I needed to place the chips from the original tanks onto the edible ink tanks. That's fine, except that the edible tanks are shaped different and there are no notches to hold the chip on the edible tanks as are on the original ink tanks. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a trick to this that i don't know about?

Did you figure this out yet? I just got my ink today and am about to try and figure out how to set it up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Sounds like you have the wrong ink tanks. The ones that hold the chips are

4 Individual Color Tanks with Microchips use our IP42SET-4

Kopykake carries the new ink tanks that have a little compartment that has the notches you need in order to connect the chip.

See if you can return those to kopykake for the new ones.

Good luck.
