I'm craving chocolate cake, and I want to make chocolate stout cupcakes (from the cake recipe at epicurious.. OMG divine ) and I want to have some kind of peanut butter filling. What would be the best way? I thought about putting peanut butter in the batter but that would disperse throughout the cake, then i thought that I could put a glob of it in the batter when I put it in the cups, but thought that might melt through the cake? would it be better if I made a peanut butter buttercream and put it inside using a bismark tip after they finish baking? I think I want something gooey to bite into. Any ideas? Thank you for any help ![]()
Hi tania, here is the link to a peanut butter fiiling which I have saved from the recipe index. I haven't made it, but sounds yummy. If you want, there are some more recipes under fillings.
