Meringue Powder + Egg White As A Substitute?

The wilton meringue powder offers this subsitution:
Can be used as an egg white substitute in baking.
2 tsp. Meringue + 2 Tbsp. Water = 1 Egg White
So, 1 T meringue powder is the same as 1 1/2 egg whites (3 tsp = 1 T). You'd want to decrease your liquids accordingly.

Wilton does ship overseas....but I'd guess they'd charge a lot for shipping. Sorry. ![]()
