after shipping some for Christmas and having the packages break open and cake balls rolling around in the boxes (everyone still ate them 
) My FIL suggested packing them in clean egg cartons. I haven't tried it yet but it seemed like a good idea, he's a systems analyst go figure

I put each one in a mini cupcake liner, and then line them up in a cake box. Not very exciting, but it works.
