I would go w/ a gray RI & paint over it w/ luster dust & vodka. I have done it & it did not dilute the RI, which I was afraid of.

I READ A POST THAT IF YOU USE LEMON EXTRACT INSTEAD OF VODKA,THAT IT DOENT STREAK AS BAD..
