. I am having problems with the bottles breaking off a bit around the very bottom edge when I try to get the mold to start rolling off the cooled sugar bottle. Is this normal (I understand that this part will be in the cake and not seen) or am I not getting enough sugar up to that part when I pour or is it just gonna happen? The amber (burned!
) sugar isn't very tasty
, and I'd rather not risk having shards in the cake if I can somehow get a smooth edge. Thanks for any advice from anyone who has made these bottles.
