I am thinking this sounds like a dumb question, and I really did try to search for an answer or previous post before asking but couldn't find one.

When do I apply a pearl border (made from a First Impressions Bead mold) to a cake? I am doing a cake for Friday that will have it on each tier, and I planned to assemble the cake after transport.

you can put the pearl border on the bottom tier friday night. if you are stacking, i assume you are... then you would put the pearl borders on after stacking. you can pre make the pearls and put in freezer bags, and lay a damp cloth on top of freezer bags to keep them moist friday night or before you take them to your destination. you want to keep them moist so they won,t break. hth
