What would be your price per serving for something like this?

After talking with my partner in cake crime, we read about that cake in a magazine, and we'd both agree to estimate, with the going price of fellow cake decorators here in Las Vegas, that cake would be around $1500 - $2000 all together.
We do know one person who would sell that cake for around 3-5 grand, just because of the royal icing transfers on the sides, the stacking design, and the fondant. Labor and all, it gets pricey.
It's a beautiful cake, though expensive.
