I wonder if somebody can help me with making a sugar glaze image on a cake. I saw this picture on a cake found on the amazing site of Sharon's sugar shack and i want to try this also.

The term I have heard for these is Run-In-Sugar, so you may want to try searching for that.

You outline your image with buttercream icing. And then you flood or run in the sugar mixture. I don't know the exact amounts, but the sugar mixture is powder sugar, water and cornsyrup.

This is done directly on the cake, but is done like color flow pieces. It will set, but does not dry hard, you can still cut through it.

You can also use piping gel for the affect as well.
