Square Cake Corners- How Do You Get Them?

im frustrated! everytime i make a square cake my corners are droopy.
i look at square cakes here and the corners are very strong, look clean and no drooping.
i level my cakes (using a level), and ive used frosting to build up my corners but they look horrible.
any suggestions?

You both have great techniques for smoothing and getting the corners "high" and even. Maybe I should make a video of how I get my top edges to look crisp. HMMMMM!!! Not sure if am that proficient in uploading a video though.

Definitely a great job! It's so much easier to learn when you have visual aid. Too bad it can't be in person!!!!

i will be doing another square cake soon and i hope this helps.
my other question is,
is the it the frosting that makes the corners or cake.
because i cant seem to get my corners high enough with cake.
i think thats alot of my problem.
i dont want alot frosting on the edges.
does that make sense???
